Quarterly Arts Scholarships
The Reprise Quarterly Arts Scholarship provides funding for students who express a need for financial support in order to participate in educational arts and music experiences in San Luis Obispo County. This furthers our mission by ensuring local arts experiences are accessible to students regardless of socioeconomic status, means, geographic location, age, or other barriers.
Criteria
Through this scholarship, we seek to broadly support students participating in a wide variety of educational arts programs and experiences throughout the county. This scholarship is available to applicants of any age expressing a financial need to participate in any educational program or experience, of any medium or genre.
To be considered for a scholarship from this fund, applicants must meet the following criteria.
Applicants must live, work, or attend school in San Luis Obispo County.
The arts program must be based in San Luis Obispo County.
The applicant must indicate a need for financial support.
The application must be received by the application deadline.
The award will not exceed program maximums.
Approval is subject to review and discretion of the Board of Directors.
When applications are approved, Reprise will ask the following of the beneficiary.
Beneficiary should commit to attending at least 75% of classes (if applicable).
Funds will be distributed directly to the organization or program whenever possible.
Award Calendar & Deadlines
Scholarships will be issued quarterly on the following schedule.
Winter Awards Apply Dec. 1 through Feb. 27 for awards Jan. 1 through March 31.
Spring Awards Apply March 1 through May 31 for awards April 1 through June 30.
Summer Awards Apply June 1 through August 31 for awards July 1 through Sept. 30.
Fall Awards Apply Sept. 1 through Nov. 30 for awards Oct. 1 through Dec. 31.
