Meet the Board

LACEY McNAMARA (SHE/HER) - CO-FOUNDER, PRESIDENT

Born and raised on the Central Coast, Lacey grew up in a very musical family. She started taking piano lessons when she was four years old and continued playing through college (and still does!) Her first experiences with theatre were sitting on her father’s trumpet case in the orchestra pit while he played for musicals with Pioneer Players in Paso Robles. For over 30 years, she has been involved with over 200 theatrical productions with companies from Paso Robles to Cambria to Santa Maria, serving as actor, volunteer, technician, stage manager, accompanist, and music director/conductor. You may have seen her conducting at PCPA, tickling the ivories at The Great American Melodrama, or gracing the stage at SLO REP! Lacey holds a BA in Business Administration from University of La Verne. She has accompanied the choirs for the Atascadero and Paso Robles school districts as well as the voice classes for the Coastal Adult School. She enjoys SCUBA diving, boogie boarding, and attending live theatre productions all over the Central Coast. She and her wife, Danielle, own Lyrics and Melodies Studio in Los Osos.

ALEXIS LEWIS (SHE/HER) - CO-FOUNDER, VICE PRESIDENT

Alexis's life has been rich in experiences of culture, music, arts, and travel. She started dancing at four years old and continued through college, earning a BA in Political Science, magna cum laude, from Cal Poly. In 2024 she opened Explore Dance Arts, where students explore movement and music in a welcoming, inclusive environment.

As she grew up traveling, she developed a curiosity for diverse people, cultures, knowledge and traditions. She has enjoyed theater and concerts around the world in notable venues and believes each of these opportunities to connect with arts has had a profound impact on her worldview. She is so thankful for the opportunity to create such opportunities for deserving members of SLO County through Reprise.
