Meet the Board
LACEY McNAMARA (SHE/HER) - CO-FOUNDER, PRESIDENT
Born and raised on the Central Coast, Lacey grew up in a very musical family. She started taking piano lessons when she was four years old and continued playing through college (and still does!) Her first experiences with theatre were sitting on her father’s trumpet case in the orchestra pit while he played for musicals with Pioneer Players in Paso Robles.
For over 30 years, she has been involved with over 200 theatrical productions with companies from Paso Robles to Cambria to Santa Maria, serving as actor, volunteer, technician, stage manager, accompanist, and music director/conductor. You may have seen her conducting at PCPA, tickling the ivories at The Great American Melodrama, or gracing the stage at SLO REP!
Lacey holds a BA in Business Administration from University of La Verne. She has accompanied the choirs for the Atascadero and Paso Robles school districts as well as the voice classes for the Coastal Adult School. She enjoys SCUBA diving, boogie boarding, and attending live theatre productions all over the Central Coast. She and her wife, Danielle, own Lyrics and Melodies Studio in Los Osos.

“This scholarship made a huge difference for our family! We hit a financially challenging time and were going to have to give up one of our daughter’s activities. This was a huge disappointment! When we were given the scholarship, I couldn’t wait to tell our daughter we could go back our beloved music class. Thank you for allowing us to keep our daughter engaged in a wonderful music program!”
-Taylor R.| Mini Melodies Family
“We are grateful for the scholarship as this class has been great in terms of socialization, art, music, and connection. This scholarship allowed us to remain in the class which helps my son learn how to interact with his peers through music. As a parent, being part of the program has helped me to engage better with my son as well. I do not have more words to express my deep gratitude.”
